Pre-K Teacher Assistant
Must meet the following guidelines to be employed as a Pre-K Teacher Assistant.
New Child Care Rule Concerning Teacher Assistants:
To keep you all in the loop, I wanted to share a new update for the DCDEE CHAPTER 9 CHILD CARE RULES Teacher Assistant Education changes…this is effective now but will be enforced with the 22-23 school year. Please note: existing NC Pre-K Teacher Assistants in Public Schools and Private Child Care sites will not be "grandfathered in" per DCDEE. Any new hires for Teacher Assistants will also need to follow this new Rule.
The DCDEE licensing consultant in your area can explain further how the ruling will take effect.
